FIST PUBLISHED IN GERMAN IN ----1913----- AS "RUSSLAND UND EUROPA" London translation 1919 ------------------------------------------------------------------ Masaryk studied in Wien and was a Herr Professor in the Prague University. Later , he became the first president of the (Versailles) Czech Republic ------------------------------------------------------------------- The book: The part one (volume 1) is by far the most interesting: 213 pages of interpre- tative history of Russia , as seen from The 1913 Habsburg empire. Part two is more damaged by the time passed: a cultural history of Russia. Part three discusses the inquietudes born out of the 1905 revolution: "Houston , i have a bad feeling".
